Seasonal Market Locations

Our market is located between two UNC Asheville parking lots. During UNC Asheville’s academic year, we are in Lot P34 at 275 Edgewood Road next to Covenant Reformed Presbyterian Church. From mid-May to mid-August, we are located in Lot P28.

Parking

No matter our location, we always have accessible parking available at our market lot. Parking is available in Lots P25, P26, P27, P28 or P34. Signs are visible throughout campus to identify each parking lot. Please refrain from parking in any other lots than what is detailed and shown below.

Bikes, Skateboards, and More

Bikes, roller blades, skateboards, and motorized devices other than mobility devices must stay outside of market bounds as our market is very busy and crowded. Use our designated bike parking or lock up or bike at a bike rack on campus.

Accessibility Information

Our market is outdoors on a paved parking lot with a moderate grade increase from the entrance on Edgewood Road to the market at the back of Lot P34. There are at least 4 marked handicap parking spots and additional accessible parking spots directly adjacent to our market vendors. One of our two porta johns are handicap accessible, and we have a hand washing station that is about 3-4 ft. high to reach. Most vendor stalls are accessible by rollator and wheelchair, but some may be a tight fit for mobility devices.

If you need any assistance getting items to your vehicle, shopping at various booths, or have ideas to better our accessibility, please visit our yellow information booth in the middle of market or contact us. Additionally, our market can be overstimulating for some due to high customer traffic and noise levels. We have weekly musicians and some bring amplification. Dogs are allowed and present at market. Masks are available at our information booth. SNAP/EBT is accepted by all food vendors by first visiting our information booth to get SNAP tokens.

Bus Routes to UNC Asheville

Take either route N1 or N2 and use Bus Stop 213: UNC Asheville at Edgewood Rd to arrive close to market. All Asheville Transit routes originate from the ART station at 49 Coxe Ave in downtown Asheville (next to the U.S. Post Office). See the maps below for routes N1 & N2.
