The Ayurvedic Institute is the premiere school in the West for studying the traditional sciences of alternative medicine of Ayurveda. Founded by Vasant lad, BAM&S, MASc, The Ayurvedic Institute provides authentic and traditional education in Ayurveda. Ayurveda draws upon multiple disciplines and modalities to take a holistic approach in an individual’s healing journey, incorporating diet, lifestyle, herbs, yoga, breathwork, meditation, and more. Relocating to Asheville, North Carolina, in 2022, the Institute continues its mission on a new wellness campus. The Institute offers various levels of study, each one deepening the scope and understanding of what Ayurveda is.

Asheville Yoga Center (AYC) has been a cherished part of the grassroots Asheville community for over 26 years. Known locally and respected regionally and nationally, AYC offers a variety of yoga classes, workshops, and teacher training programs with a focus on heart-centered practices and community connection. Our welcoming studio provides a space where individuals can explore yoga as a holistic practice that nurtures the body, mind, and spirit.
