Osada Bee Farm started about 38 years ago in Ponca Ne. We wanted to get our six children off of sugar and thought honey was a nice alternate. We ended up with 100 hives and as newbies we were stung at least 100 times. We moved to Asheville in 1985 and found the one and only tailgate market at that time in North Asheville. We had about 12 hives and have been selling at NATM since 1985. Our hives are located in South Asheville at our home and in Avery’s Creek. We have about 10 to 15 hives.
